Preschool Teacher – The Learning Experience River Vale Location: River Vale, NJ
Pay: $17 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday

About The Learning Experience

The Learning Experience – River Vale is seeking a caring and enthusiastic Preschool Teacher to join our early childhood education team. Our preschool classrooms provide a warm, playful, and developmentally rich environment where children learn through hands-on exploration and discovery.

Key Responsibilities

• Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging preschool classroom environment.
  
  
• Support learning through play, circle time, art, early literacy, and age-appropriate activities.
  
  
• Foster social-emotional development and positive peer interactions.
  
  
• Communicate with families daily about classroom experiences and progress.
  
  
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom that supports learning and independence.
  
  
• Ensure compliance with all New Jersey childcare licensing regulations.
  
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
  
  
• Experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, or childcare setting preferred.
  
  
• CDA or Early Childhood coursework a plus (not required).
  
  
• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP).
  
  
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
  
  
• Reliable, patient, and passionate about working with preschool-age children.
