Preschool Lead Teacher - Early Childhood Education

Location: The Learning Experience - Meridian, ID

Pay: $17-$20 per hour, based on experience and credentials

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday | 9:00 AM-6:00 PM

The Learning Experience - Meridian is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Preschool Lead Teacher to lead a classroom of children ages 3-4.

We're looking for an educator who can create an engaging classroom where children build confidence, independence, friendships, and important early academic skills through purposeful play and hands-on learning.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily routines and learning experiences in a Preschool classroom
• Implement The Learning Experience's proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum
• Create engaging activities supporting early literacy, math, science, creativity, and social-emotional development
• Encourage independence, communication, problem-solving, and positive peer relationships
• Maintain consistent classroom routines and positive guidance
• Observe children's development and maintain required classroom documentation
• Build strong relationships and communicate regularly with families
• Guide and collaborate with classroom support teachers
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized learning environment
• Follow Idaho childcare licensing, health, and safety requirements

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous professional preschool, daycare, childcare, or early childhood experience strongly preferred
• Experience working with children ages 3-4 preferred
• Lead Teacher or classroom leadership experience preferred
• CDA, Early Childhood Education coursework, or related credentials are a plus
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Ability to meet Idaho childcare licensing requirements
