You'll work alongside teachers and staff who support one another and share a common goal—creating a safe, welcoming place where children can learn and thrive.
Healthy meals help children stay energized, focused, and ready to learn. Your work plays an important role in creating positive daily routines and caring for Hawaiʻi's keiki.
Enjoy a family-friendly kitchen environment with predictable hours, a steady pace, and no late-night shifts or hectic dinner service.
Prepare and serve catered breakfasts, lunches, and afternoon snacks.
Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and stocked.
Follow food safety and sanitation procedures.
Wash dishes and maintain kitchen equipment and supplies.
Help support classrooms with simple tasks when needed.
Pitch in wherever needed to help the preschool team succeed.
Is dependable and takes pride in doing quality work.
Enjoys staying organized and keeping things running smoothly.
Works well independently and as part of a team.
Likes being around young children.
Brings a positive attitude and a willingness to help wherever needed.
Previous kitchen or food service experience is helpful, but not required. If you're reliable, eager to learn, and enjoy working in a team environment, we'd love to hear from you.
Starting Pay: $17.00–$18.50 per hour
