Temporary part-time role | 2 days per week | Until December 2026

Are you an experienced early childhood teacher with a passion for inclusion and experience in supporting or coaching educators? This is an opportunity to use your expertise beyond the classroom and support educators to create inclusive kindergarten programs for all children.

The Role

As a Preschool Field Officer, you will work closely with kindergarten educators to build their capacity to support the access and participation of children with additional needs in funded three and four-year-old kindergarten programs. Through a coaching model, you will provide practical guidance, professional support and advice, and help educators connect families with relevant services and supports.

About You

You are an accomplished Early Childhood Teacher who brings strong knowledge of inclusive practice, child development and contemporary early learning frameworks. You have experience supporting children with additional needs and enjoy coaching, mentoring, advising and working collaboratively with educators and families.

You will have:

• ACECQA-approved Early Childhood Teaching qualification

• Extensive experience delivering inclusive kindergarten programs

• Strong knowledge of early childhood education and specialist support services

• Current VIT registration

• Postgraduate qualifications in Special Education (desirable) and experience in Coaching
