Salary Range: $20.00 - $22.00 Hourly

The hourly preschool teacher provides a safe, nurturing and engaging learning environment for young children while supporting their social, emotional, physical and cognitive development.  This role plans and leads age appropriate activities, maintains a positive classroom atmosphere, and communicates effectively with families and staff to ensure the well-being and growth of each child. The hourly preschool teacher supervises and engages pre-school aged children in developmentally appropriate learning activities that promote school readiness and positive social skills.  Responsibilities include maintaining a safe classroom environment, supporting daily routines and fostering positive relationships with children, families and coworkers.

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.  Previous experience working with preschool-aged children in a childcare, preschool, daycare or educational setting preferred.
Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications.
