Joyful Discovery Preschool at Mary, Queen of Peace is seeking a highly qualified, dedicated and outgoing candidate for the position of Lead Teacher for our Pre-Kindergarten Class for the Fall of 2024
(8:1 student/teacher ratio). This position is 18 hours per week, Monday through Thursday (9am-1:30pm) with additional planning hours to equal 2 hours per week). This position is not benefits eligible, except for Worker’s Comp.
You will have the opportunity to make a difference in children's lives by providing them with a safe and nurturing environment that encourages their social, emotional, physical, spiritual and intellectual development. You will teach with a fun and talented team of dedicated teachers and directors, while assisting in the design and implementation of a developmentally appropriate curriculum. Applicants will have the aptitude to collaboratively maintain positive relationships with our students, parents, and coworkers. Strong work ethic, excellent communication and classroom management skills are a must.
