We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Preschool Centre Head to lead and manage our preschool in Gachibowli, Hyderabad. This role is ideal for a passionate education professional who combines strong administrative capabilities with a deep understanding of early childhood education. The Centre Head will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the preschool, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children, while also driving academic excellence and operational efficiency.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the overall administration and management of the preschool, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
- Supervise, mentor, and support teaching and non-teaching staff to maintain high standards of performance and engagement.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, safety norms, and organizational policies.
- Manage admissions, parent interactions, and community engagement initiatives effectively.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance student enrollment and retention.
- Oversee curriculum delivery and ensure alignment with early childhood education best practices.
- Maintain accurate records related to attendance, staff performance, finances, and inventory.
- Handle budgeting, fee collection, and financial planning in coordination with management.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work culture within the centre.
- Address parent concerns and feedback with professionalism and empathy.
Administrative Skills (Core Focus):
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.
- Experience in staff scheduling, resource allocation, and operational planning.
- Proficiency in handling documentation, reporting, and compliance-related tasks.
- Ability to manage budgets, track expenses, and optimize operational costs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to resolving challenges.
- Strong leadership and decision-making capabilities to drive the centre’s success.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Proven experience in a leadership or administrative role within a preschool or educational institution.
- In-depth understanding of early childhood education frameworks and child development principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with parents, staff, and stakeholders.
- Ability to build and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Strong team management and conflict resolution skills.
- Tech-savvy with basic knowledge of school management systems and MS Office tools.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field (preferred).
- Relevant certifications in preschool or childcare management will be an added advantage.
