Technical Sales Architect
Responsibilities
The main responsibilities of the job are:
Support the technical sale of our client's product and services at selected named accounts or projects, alongside the sales manager.
Act as the primary technical liaison between the customer and the company ensuring timely, high-quality responses to technical and business-related needs and concerns.
Play an active role in the sales team throughout the sales process and the ongoing customer relationship by offering technical sales support in a variety of complex or comprehensive activities.
Work alongside the team to provide the technical statement of compliancy responses for RFP and RFIs together with the Central Bid Desk.
Generate customer Solution Overview documents to be included in the offers.
Manage the Proof of Concepts and workshops with customers
Participate in providing feedback to Product Management and Engineering regarding customer functional requirements
Skills Requirements
Telecommunications:
Knowledge of Telecommunications Network Equipment operations
Ability to draw out call flows and sequence diagrams and knowledge of the protocol specifications.
Understanding of telephony concepts from the Core, the Edge and the Provisioning side of the carrier’s architecture, including 5G and legacy 2G/3G/4G networks.
Knowledge of at least two of the following signalling protocols: HTTP2, ENUM, SIP, Diameter, SS7.
Infrastructure and Operations:
Understanding of the technical requirements tied to Cloud Computing and Virtualization: Kubernetes, Helm, CNF, NFV, OpenStack, KVM, VMware, etc.
Understanding software packaging, the OS operations and upgrades, and Linux Operating System
Knowledge on OA&M concepts and operations like backup/restore, KPIs, monitoring, alarms etc.
Knowledge on Security or Analytics is a plus.
Soft Skills
Excellent writing skills. Ability to describe technical concepts or product architecture in formal documents.
Languages: Fluent in English.
Capable of operating in a multi-country and multi-cultural environment

Independent and self-driven
Qualifications and Experience
Four-year Engineering degree in a related technical field preferred, ideally Telecommunications,
Computer Science, Information Technology. (if no degree then based on experience)
Ideal 3-5 years of proven experience with the technology
Ideal experience coming from working at carrier core network group or telecom network
equipment vendors that sell into the carrier core network team
Certificates on Linux, Virtualization, Kubernetes or Security would be a plus.
