As a Presales Engineer, you'll be the trusted technical advisor for both our sales teams and HPE partners.

Working at the intersection of technology and business, you'll help partners design the right infrastructure solutions, support them throughout the sales process, and strengthen their technical capabilities through enablement and training.

You'll play a key role in helping our partners grow their HPE business while building long-term relationships across the Nordic channel ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Support & Technical Advisory

  • Support partners throughout the entire sales cycle.
  • Design and present HPE infrastructure solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance, quotations, and solution proposals.
  • Help partners position the right solutions for their customers.

Partner & Customer Engagement

  • Build trusted relationships with partners and customers.
  • Deliver technical workshops, demonstrations, and presentations.
  • Participate in customer meetings and support strategic opportunities.
  • Drive partner engagement through regular technical interactions.

Partner Enablement

  • Train and coach partner sales and technical teams.
  • Support certifications and competency development.
  • Help partners understand the value of HPE solutions and how to position them successfully.
  • Act as the technical expert within your specialization.

Business Development

  • Identify new technical opportunities together with partners.
  • Support Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and solution adoption.
  • Translate customer challenges into scalable HPE solutions.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Vendor Management and internal specialists to win new business.

Skills & Experience

We're looking for someone who combines strong technical expertise with commercial awareness.

You have:

  • Experience within HPE Server & Storage or Networking (Aruba / Juniper).
  • A background in Presales, Systems Engineering or Technical Consulting.
  • Strong technical knowledge combined with commercial understanding.
  • Experience supporting partners or customers throughout the sales process.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • A consultative mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience working within the IT channel ecosystem is an advantage.
  • A passion for continuous learning and professional development.
