Job Description

We’re hiring a channel-first Senior Presales Engineer to drive technical success across our partner ecosystem — resellers, distributors, and system integrators — for our Identity Management portfolio (Active Directory, EntraID, and Microsoft 365 migration and management, plus identity security, governance, and modernization). This person operates through partners: enabling them to position, demo, and deliver independently, and stepping into priority opportunities directly when it counts. Success is measured by how self-sufficient and productive our partners become — not by deals you carry alone.

You’ll work primarily in the Microsoft Identity and Platform Management space, with adjacent exposure to our broader data-management portfolio (database tooling, replication, and observability) where identity and data intersect in customer environments.

Responsibilities

Partner Enablement & Scale

  • Serve as the primary technical advisor to channel partners across the region (ANZ and SEA)
  • Build and deliver enablement — training, certification paths, and hands-on workshops — that move partners toward self-sufficiency
  • Develop repeatable assets: reference demos, solution playbooks, competitive positioning, and bundling templates partners can run without you
  • Coach partner SEs on positioning, differentiation, and discovery so they win on their own

Deal Execution & Solution Design

  • Support partner-led opportunities through qualification, technical validation, and progression — influencing outcomes without owning the deal
  • Design bundled, commercially sound identity solutions tied to customer business outcomes, not feature lists
  • Act as the technical escalation point for complex partner and customer challenges
  • Partner with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to close capability gaps and unblock opportunities

Qualifications

What you bring to the role:

  • 8+ years in Presales / Solutions Engineering, with at least 3 years in a partner-led / indirect sales motion
  • Hands-on background in Enterprise Identity, Microsoft Platform Management (AD/Entra/M365)or identity security/governance; broader data-management or infrastructure experience is a plus
  • Proven ability to influence and drive outcomes without direct deal control
  • Skilled at designing and positioning bundled solutions, not single products
  • Comfortable balancing hands-on technical depth with strategic, multi-stakeholder engagement
  • Strong communication and stakeholder skills across technical and commercial audiences
  • Highly proficient in English both verbal and written
