We are seeking a technically adept and commercially minded Presales Engineer to drive solution engineering and technical engagement across major data centre infrastructure projects in the Asia-Pacific region.
As a key member of the commercial team, you will be responsible for leading client discussions, developing bespoke modular infrastructure solutions, and translating complex technical requirements into winning proposals. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of engineering, business development, and innovation.
Act as the primary technical interface for customers during the presales lifecycle
Design and present customised, scalable modular data centre solutions
Lead technical workshops, site feasibility assessments, and proposal development
Translate client needs into detailed scope documents, solution designs, and cost models
Collaborate with internal engineering, operations, and commercial teams to align solutions with delivery capabilities
Support bid responses, RFPs, and strategic pursuits across hyperscale, edge, and enterprise customers
Stay across industry trends in edge computing, rapid deployment models, and energy-efficient infrastructure
Proven experience in a presales, solution engineering, or technical consultancy role within data centres, critical infrastructure, or modular construction
Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and ICT systems in data centre environments
Familiarity with design standards, compliance, and deployment considerations for modular or prefabricated systems
Confident communicator with strong client-facing skills and commercial acumen
Ability to manage multiple stakeholder groups and deliver under tight timeframes
Tertiary qualifications in engineering or a related field are highly desirable
