Starting Pay: $21 -$27.40 depending on the experience
Hours: 7:00am - 7:00pm
Schedule: Wednesday - Saturday
Location: 18249 Phoenix Dr., Hagerstown, MD 21742

As our Die Maker, you will:
• Responsible for positioning digital files per scheduling’s request and maintaining all equipment as needed while following all safety and quality control standards.
• Imposition file for press per scheduling request
• Check quality control of plates
• Perform general maintenance on all platemaking devices
• Inventory and order supplies as needed
• Create plates as needed for pressroom
• Thoroughly understand and operate platemaking machinery
• Adheres to and promotes all safety, security and environmental policies and procedures
• All other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements:
• Ability to stand and walk for 10-hour shift
• Ability to carry and lift up to 30 pounds
• Ability to bend and reach for extended periods of time

Qualifications:
• High levels of attention to detail
• Ability to work as a team and individually
• Position requires mechanical aptitude
• Ability to read a ruler metric and standard and perform basic math
• Knowledge of manufacturing operations or print operations preferred
• Ability to read and understand layouts, set up instructions and production instructions
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• 2 Years of previous printing experience preferred
