As a Charge Nurse, you will play a vital role in coordinating patient care, supporting team members, and ensuring smooth daily operations within our Pre/Post Surgical department. You will serve as a clinical leader and trusted resource for staff, helping create a safe, efficient, and patient-focused environment.
Working closely with the Nurse Manager, the Charge Nurse assists with patient care coordination, staffing support, team development, and quality improvement initiatives. This role is ideal for a nurse who thrives in a fast-paced setting, demonstrates strong clinical expertise, communicates effectively, and enjoys mentoring others while delivering exceptional patient care.
The successful candidate is organized, adaptable, and committed to fostering teamwork, patient safety, and positive outcomes for patients and their families.
Experience and Education Requirements:
Two years relevant patient-care experience required.
Active Kentucky RN license required
BCLS required
CNOR Preferred
Prior management experience preferred
