What you'll do (mostly this...other duties may be assigned):

• Prepares, portions, and labels ingredients according to standardized recipes and instructions.
• Ensures all prep areas and equipment are cleaned, sanitized, and organized according to company policies and OSHA standards.
• Practices safe handling, storage, and rotation of all food items (FIFO), ensuring freshness and minimizing waste.
• Assists line cooks and chefs with basic preparation tasks as needed.
• Maintains proper labeling and dating of all prepared items according to safety guidelines.
• Follows all kitchen procedures to uphold quality standards for food consistency.
• Supports receiving and storage of deliveries, including stocking, rotating, and verifying product quality.
• Communicates any product shortages or equipment issues to kitchen leadership promptly.

What we’re looking for:

• Must be at least 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in the USA.
• High School diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• 0–2 years of related kitchen experience preferred.
• Ability to follow directions, complete repetitive tasks efficiently, and maintain attention to detail.
• Strong time-management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Professionalism
• Ability to delight guests by anticipating needs and responding in a friendly, helpful manner
• Consistently caring and respectful attitude toward internal and external customers
• Act as a gracious host to all guests

Physical demands: the physical demands described here are representative of those required to successfully perform this job:

• Frequent standing, walking, reaching, pushing, pulling, and use of fine and gross motor skills.
• Occasional bending or lifting up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to work in hot, humid, or fast-paced environments for extended periods.

North Point Hospitality was started in 1978 and is located in Atlanta, Georgia. We build high-quality hotels in popular areas. Over the years, we’ve worked with big hotel companies like Hilton and Marriott to create these projects. So far, we’ve built 38 hotels from the ground up, investing over $600 million. Today, we own and manage 9 hotels in the Southeast, including 8 that are part of the Hilton and Marriott brands. We’re also working on 5 more hotels that are either being built or planned.
