Job Description

Job Purpose or Objective(s): You will ensure kitchen preparation is complete and meet company standards, so each guest receives an unforgettable meal. You will prepare food using recipes according to company specifications with diverse methods of preparation. You will report to the Chilis General Manager.

Pay Rate: $13.00 per hour | Part-Time | Variable Days & Shifts

Weekly Earned Wage Access is an option for this position.

Primary Tasks:

  1. You will prepare a variety of food with diverse methods of preparation and follows specific product prep and handling procedures and plate preparation.
  2. Follow all company safety and sanitation procedures.
  3. Ensure execution of recipe procedures whole maintaining a high quality and product.
  4. Maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen.
  5. Maintain proper par levels to ensure kitchen service it not disrupted.
  6. You will communicate potential problems with cooks, managers, and serve.
  7. Complete assigned prep work to stock and set up stations.
  8. Break down and clean station or work area at end of shift.
  9. Ensure rotation of all products and stocks product to par.
  10. Safely transport items to and from kitchen on a slick surface.
  11. Clean and sanitize throughout the shift.
  12. Perform all responsibilities following established company policies to achieve the objective of this position.
  13. Maintain a favorable working relationship with all other team members to promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate which will be conducive to maximum team member morale, productivity, and efficiency.
  14. You will display a favorable image of Chili's Bar & Grill.
  15. Perform other responsibilities as may be assigned.

Requirements:

  • Stands/walk 100% of shift
  • Reaches, bends, stoops, and wipes frequently
  • Work frequently in a damp, hot work environment
  • Use sharp knives and utensils
  • May use slicers or other kitchen machinery
  • Able to hold items with hands (knives, pans) for extended periods of time, with up to 5lbs of weight
  • Verbalize and respond to Team Members and Managers
  • Must be willing to work weekends and holidays
  • Prior Full Service Casual Dining experience
