PREP COOK JOB SUMMARY
ThePrep Cook is responsible for: (1) efficiently and accurately preparing and portioning food products for customer consumption, (2) weighing, measuring and mixing ingredients and food items according to the Company’s recipe book, (2) following Company, state, and federal sanitary standards and safety standards to promote a safe dining environment for guests and safe work environment for employees, (3) maintaining a positive work environment by working professionally with both the back of the house and front of the house staff members, and (4) exceeding our guests’ service standards and expectations, all while adhering to direction from management.

Education
High School Diploma or GED equivalent optional
Experience
Minimum of two years of experience in a large commercial kitchen operation required
Must be at least 18 years old
ServSafe Certification
CPR certification and/or First Aid training preferred

Good Time Design is an all-encompassing hospitality and entertainment group located in San Diego, California. Created in 2006 by businessman and hospitality entrepreneur, Ty Hauter, the company has rapidly grown to own and operate numerous unique establishments. Good Time Design’s portfolio includes diverse restaurants, bars and live music venues including current projects Moonshine Flats, Moonshine Beach, The Blind Burro, and Bub’s at the Ballpark and past projects Wave House, Bootlegger and Typhoon Saloon. 2016 marked the opening of Good Time Design’s first venue in Nashville, Tennessee, Cerveza Jack’s, as well as the acquisition of The George Jones, a four-story, 40,000 square foot entertainment venue in the heart of Nashville. In 2017, the Good Time Design team’s recent ventures into artist development has added to their growing mark in the entertainment and country music industry.
Good Time Design has focused on launching diverse restaurants and bars near Petco Park, including Bub’s at the Ballpark, The Blind Burro, Cat Eye Club, Lucky’s Lunch Counter, Moonshine Flats and The Deck at Moonshine Flats. In addition to the strong East Village presence, Good Time Design revamped a 9-hole executive golf course in Point Loma’s Liberty Station which they renamed The Loma Club, the company’s first foray into the golfing industry. In 2016, Good Time Design expanded into Pacific Beach with Cerveza Jack’s and Moonshine Beach (sister venue to Downtown’s Moonshine Flats) as well as a second Cerveza Jack’s location and acquisition of The George Jones, both in downtown Nashville, Tennessee.
