Pay: $17.00-$19.00 per hour (based on experience) + perks!
Job Status Non-Exempt, PRN (As-needed)
Schedule & Hours: 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM |Hours dependent on availability and coverage needed

Sedgebrook is seeking a Prep Cook to support our Community Culinary Services team. If you enjoy food preparation, teamwork, and working in a clean, professional kitchen, this is a great opportunity to grow your culinary skills while making a difference every day.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with meal preparation for lunch and dinner service.
- Prepare cold food items and support baking and catering needs.
- Follow production sheets, approved recipes, and daily prep schedules.
- Maintain proper food handling, temperature logs, and portion control.
- Follow all HACCP and food safety standards
- Support Line Cook functions as needed.
- Maintain kitchen sanitation and equipment cleaning schedules.
- Communicate effectively with culinary and dining team members.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Food service experience preferred.
- Food Service Sanitation or ServSafe certification (or ability to obtain after employment).
- Ability to understand and follow instructions in English and communicate effectively.
- Reliable attendance and teamwork mindset.
