Job Description

We are looking for an ambitious Prep Cook. You’ll perform routine kitchen tasks such as the production of high volume items, so that food can be prepared according to recipes. A great prep cook will be quick and diligent and willing to improve on the job. You will be deft and able to follow instructions as well as all health and safety rules in the kitchen. The ideal candidate will also be able to function in a fast-paced, busy environment as a part of a team.

• Handling of large kitchen equipment
• Maintains full understanding of health and safety codes/violations
• Inspecting quality of produce order; check, date, & rotate
• Heavy lifting
• Dishwashing
• Chopping: Lettuce, tomatoes, & cucumbers
• Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in clean and orderly condition. Clean food preparation areas, facilities, or equipment.
• Taking out the trash and rinsing garbage cans.
• Patio set up; Maintaining a clean patio area as well as garden if applicable
• Sweeping and mopping floors, especially in the event that items are broken or spilled.
• Maintaining three compartment sink & checking PH level of sanitizer every 2 hrs. This includes sanitizer buckets

Compensation: $15.50 per hour
