We are seeking a skilled Prep Cook to assist our kitchen team in preparing delicious dishes. The Prep Cook will be responsible for chopping vegetables, butchering meat, preparing sauces, and other tasks to support our culinary staff.
Responsibilities:
1. Prepare ingredients such as vegetables, meats, and spices.
2. Assist in cooking and preparing a variety of dishes.
3. Properly store food items and ensure freshness.
4. Keep work area clean and organized.
5. Follow food safety standards at all times.
6. Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate preparation of dishes.
Qualifications:
1. Proven experience as a Prep Cook or similar role.
2. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
3. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
4. Strong attention to detail.
5. Team player with excellent communication skills.
6. Certification from a culinary school is a plus.
