What You'll Do
As our Premium Experience Coordinator, you'll play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service. Your key responsibilities will include:
Client Relations & Sales Support: You'll build strong relationships with clients and suite owners, performing sales inquiries and supporting the contracting process for premium experiences.
Financial Management: Efficiently manage payments for client and suite services, ensuring accurate records and smooth transactions.
VIP Hosting: Be the welcoming face for our clients and suite owners and their guests during events, greeting upon arrival, addressing their needs, and ensuring they have a fantastic experience.
Catering Coordination: Receive, confirm, and manage all catering orders and special requests, acting as a liaison with our catering team to ensure flawless delivery. You'll also be knowledgeable about our menu to suggest appropriate substitutions for dietary needs.
Problem Solver: Proactively follow up on requests and resolve any issues to ensure complete satisfaction for all clients and suite users.
Administrative Support: Handle essential administrative and clerical duties, maintain detailed records, and complete required reports to keep operations running smoothly.

Adaptability: Flexibility to work variable hours based on our event schedule, with the heaviest season typically from September through March.
Experience: A high school diploma or equivalent, plus six to twelve months of related experience in customer service, hospitality, or administrative roles.
Schedule
This is a year-round position, typically offering 16-24 hours per week and will include evening and weekend shifts.
Physical Demands
This position will require someone that is able to stand on their feet for many hours at a time and move quickly to different places based on needs. They will need to use their hands frequently, and be able to see, hear, and speak often. This position will require bending and maneuvering, and also the ability to move and lift up to 40 pounds at times.
Work Environment
The majority of work will be performed within doors. Many of the areas will fluctuate from moderate to loud noise levels. Temperature can fluctuate from hot to cold.

The Duluth Entertainment Convention Center (DECC) is a collection of ten venues hosting conventions, meetings, sports, arts, and entertainment right on the waters of Lake Superior in vibrant Canal Park. The DECC offers spectacular views of the Duluth Aerial Lift Bridge and excellent walkability.
