The University of Washington Information School is recruiting UW Ph.D. students for the Winter 2027 Predoctoral Instructor positions listed below.

Responsibilities may include some or all of the following duties: serve as instructor of record, teach the course, respond to students’ needs, grade and return assignments in a timely fashion, and hold weekly office hours
Predoctoral Instructor positions average 20 hours per week, which includes attending all classes and holding regular weekly office hours.
The monthly pay rate for a Predoctoral Instructor paid on Schedule 1 is $3,984. Predoctoral Instructors and their dependents may be eligible to receive UW-paid medical, dental, and vision coverage through the Graduate Appointee Insurance Program (GAIP). ASEs in academic year appointments may be eligible for one personal holiday and up to 10 paid holidays; and may be awarded up to 28 hours of sick time off (prorated based on FTE).
