As part of the Thermo Fisher Scientific team, you’ll discover meaningful work that makes a positive impact on a global scale. Join our colleagues in bringing our Mission to life every single day to enable our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner and safer. We provide our global teams with the resources needed to achieve individual career goals while helping to take science a step beyond by developing solutions for some of the world’s toughest challenges, like protecting the environment, making sure our food is safe or helping find cures for cancer.
As a Product Owner supporting the Preclarus dashboard team at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will play a key role in translating business needs into scalable, high-impact dashboard solutions. You will partner closely with business stakeholders and a cross-functional development team to define requirements, prioritize work, and deliver data visualization products that drive strategic decision-making.
In this role, you will act as the bridge between business and technology—owning the backlog, clarifying requirements, and ensuring that dashboard features are aligned with user needs and organizational priorities. You will gather and document business requirements, convert them into clear user stories and acceptance criteria, and collaborate with developers, data engineers, and UX designers to bring solutions to life within the Preclarus platform. You will work with a high degree of independence within the defined priorities, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement, and influence decisions through data and stakeholder engagement. You will be expected to manage moderately complex initiatives, balance multiple priorities, and contribute to the evolution of team processes and product strategy.
You will support the full product lifecycle, from discovery and requirements definition through development, testing, and release. By leveraging tools such as Power BI and SQL, you will also contribute to validating outputs, ensuring data accuracy, and continuously improving dashboard functionality. Your work will directly enable stakeholders to access meaningful insights that support Thermo Fisher’s mission of enabling customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.
In this collaborative environment, you will drive continuous improvement by refining processes, enhancing data products, and advocating for best practices in product/software delivery and dashboard design. You will serve as a key point of contact for stakeholders—facilitating communication, managing expectations, and ensuring successful adoption of delivered solutions.
