ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Precast Project Manager, you are responsible for planning, budgeting, overseeing, and documenting all project aspects. You coordinate with management, sales, engineering, and production teams to keep projects on track, and manage subcontractors through completion

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Build and maintain effective relationships with vendors, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Oversee project risks and implement strategies to minimize them.
  • Monitor project progress and performance using appropriate tools.
  • Develop, track, and adjust detailed project plans as needed.
  • Coordinate resources to ensure project timelines and production goals are met.
  • Manage project documentation and financial objectives, including budgets and expenditures.
  • Facilitate meetings and communication among all parties to ensure project requirements and changes are clearly understood.
  • Ensure projects are completed and closed out efficiently, including handling retention payments.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a detail-oriented project manager with strong communication, organizational, time management skills, and multitasking capabilities who can oversee all project phases, coordinate across teams, and ensure successful project completion.

IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and representatives from other companies, agencies or departments.
  • Ability to read plans and specifications as they relate to precast concrete and relationship to other trades.
  • Ability to make mathematical calculations rapidly and accurately.
  • Ability to detect and reconcile discrepancies, write RFI’s for clarification
  • Ability to use calculators, personal computers and application software.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license, and the ability to operate a motor vehicle.

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Occasional visits to active plant and field locations are required based on operational needs.
  • Ability to wear all required PPE, including but not limited to safety boots, safety glasses, hearing protection, high visibility vest, hard hat, and other PPE as required while in the plant and field.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, and navigate active plant and field environments as needed.
  • Must be able to climb stairs, walk on uneven surfaces, and safely move through industrial work areas.
  • May be exposed to moving equipment, machinery, and other standard industrial hazards.
  • May be exposed to outdoor weather conditions, including heat, cold, wind, rain, as well as noise, dust, and vibration.
