Job Description

Reporting to the Business Office Manager, this position is responsible for the posting of EFT payments, timely, assisting with taking patient payments and applying them appropriately to patient balances, research missing payments, and balance accounts. Assists with office duties and any responsibilities additionally assigned.

Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities:

• High School diploma required.
• Associates degree in related field, preferred.
• Previous healthcare billing experience preferred.
• One year of previous experience interacting with patients and customers.
• Experience in bookkeeping, insurance filing, and/or accounts receivables preferred.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Operate office equipment to include basic computer skills, 10 key, fax, and email.
• Attention to detail.
• Strong mathematical skills desired.
