Job: Pre-Sales Solution Consultant (IT Networks & Security)

As part of our continued growth and expansion, we are actively looking to add a Presales Design Consultant to our growing team based in City West Dublin. The Role:

We are ideally looking for someone with a strong technical pedigree looking to move into a more solution selling and technical presales customer-facing role. You will interact with prospective customers through executive meetings, discovery conversations, solution demonstrations, executive presentations and follow-up discussions. You will provide value to prospects and customers through solutions, thus supporting the sales cycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Sales Account Managers to understand customer requirements and develop technical solutions aligned with Aruba, Juniper or Cisco Vendor capabilities.
• Lead technical presentations, demos, and proof-of-concept (POC) sessions with clients.
• Respond to technical sections of RFPs, RFIs, and proposals.
• Assist in product positioning and competitive analysis during the sales cycle.
• Liaise with vendor teams for solution validation and joint opportunities.
• Maintain current knowledge of industry trends, networking technologies, and partner roadmaps.

Act as a bridge between sales, engineering, and delivery teams to ensure solution feasibility and alignment with client expectations.

Essential Skills & Experience;

• 3+ years in a presales, solutions engineering, or technical consultancy role.
• Attention to detail, with a view to translating customer business requirements into a technical solution
• Deep understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), VPN, and network security.
• Experience with network design tools, Visio diagrams, and documentation best practices.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills both technical and commercial.
• Comfortable interacting with stakeholders at all levels including CIOs, IT Managers, and technical teams.
• Related degree along with vendor networking certifications.
