At Ingram Micro Serbia, we are looking for a Pre‑Sales Engineer specialized in Palo Alto Networks to support the growth of the cybersecurity business in the channel. You will be aligned with the sales and partner teams, providing technical expertise to drive winning proposals and enabling Palo Alto Networks solutions for customers and distributors.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the commercial and sales team to develop Palo Alto Networks business opportunities.

  • Conduct technical demonstrations, PoCs (Proof of Concept), and solution presentations.

  • Design solution architectures and respond to technical‑commercial requests (RFIs/RFPs).

  • Support the creation of technical proposals and pre‑sales materials.

  • Stay up to date on Palo Alto Networks products and industry trends.

  • Gain relevant certifications continuously

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in systems engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • 3+ years of experience in pre‑sales engineering, solutions engineering, or similar technical customer‑facing roles — ideally working with Palo Alto Networks technologies.

  • Strong technical knowledge of firewalls, networking (L2–L4), VPN technologies, perimeter security, XDR, end-point security and cloud security concepts.

  • Proven ability to communicate and present technical concepts clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

  • Advanced English proficiency, including strong reading and verbal communication skills.

  • Availability to travel as needed to support partners, customers, and business initiatives.

  • Relevant certifications are highly desirable, such as Palo Alto’s Network Security Professional, NGFW Engineer or equivalent industry‑recognized security credentials

Desired Skills

  • Experience in installing and configuring networking equipment, including routers and switches.

  • Experience working with distribution channels or technology partners, ideally within the cybersecurity or networking ecosystem.
