The Role

As a Pre-Sales Engineer you are the connection between technology and business, helping finance leaders understand how Rydoo's expense management platform solves the problems they actually have: controlling spend, enforcing policy without slowing people down, and closing the books faster.

Working alongside our US Account Executives across mid-market and enterprise, you will run technical discovery, design and deliver tailored demonstrations, scope integrations into ERP and HCM environments, and own our RFP responses. Today our AEs run most of this themselves with support arriving from Europe, hours ahead of their calendar. You are the person who changes that.

You will also be a cornerstone of how solution engineering takes shape in North America, with real influence over the demo standard, the RFP library, and how our AEs and SEs sell together.

Mid-market is our core market and where most of your time will go. Our enterprise deals are global, multi-country and genuinely complex, and you will work those too.

Your impact

• Own technical discovery and deliver tailored demonstrations across US and Canadian opportunities, from 100-person companies to global enterprises
• Translate finance pain into solution design, and hold the business conversation with a CFO before the technical one with their IT lead
• Lead technical validation on enterprise deals: ERP and HCM integration scoping, SSO and security reviews, multi-country and multi-currency configuration, card programs
• Own RFP and RFI responses for North America and build the response library behind them
• Build and maintain the US demo environment, including industry and persona-specific configurations
• Partner with Technical Services on scope handover at close, and bring US market and competitive signal back to Product
• Set the technical standard for a growing US sales team through competitive positioning and demo coaching

Requirements

• 3+ years in pre-sales, solution engineering, or solution consulting for B2B SaaS sold to finance, HR, or IT buyers
• A track record running demos and technical validation in enterprise or upper mid-market deals
• Strong understanding of finance and accounting workflows
• Working knowledge of the integration landscape our buyers live in: ERP, HCM and payroll platforms, SSO, APIs and data flows
• Experience supporting formal RFP and RFI processes
• Proven ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to both business and technical audiences, and to stay composed presenting to a large mixed audience
• Comfort in a team-selling model where the Account Executive owns the relationship and you own the solution

Nice to have

• Travel and expense, spend management, or fintech background
• Multi-country or multi-currency deployment experience
• Experience as the first or early Solution Engineer in a region
• Interest in growing into accounts payable: Rydoo's Semine AP platform comes to the US market in 2027 and this role can extend into it
