Presales Solution Architect - Insurance Smart Apps

DXC Technology is seeking an experienced Solution Architect to join our Insurance Software & Business (ISB) organization and support the growth of our Assure Smart Apps portfolio.

Assure Smart Apps are cloud-based insurance workflow applications that help insurers automate business processes, improve operational efficiency, and accelerate digital transformation. The role focuses on designing innovative business solutions for insurance clients, leveraging modern cloud platforms, workflow technologies, and industry best practices.

You will work closely with clients, product teams, and delivery organizations to understand business challenges, define solution architectures, and guide the successful implementation of Insurance Smart Apps solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead solution design and architecture for insurance workflow and business applications.

• Engage with clients to understand business objectives and translate requirements into scalable technology solutions.

• Facilitate workshops, discovery sessions, and solution reviews with business and technical stakeholders.

• Define application, integration, data, security, and cloud architecture requirements.

• Collaborate with product, engineering, and delivery teams to ensure successful solution implementation.

• Support solution estimation, proposals, RFP responses, and client presentations.

• Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout the project lifecycle.

• Act as a trusted advisor to clients on insurance transformation and workflow automation initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• 10-15 years of IT experience, including solution architecture, consulting, or enterprise application design.

• Experience designing business applications, workflow solutions, and digital transformation initiatives.

• Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures and enterprise integrations.

• Experience working directly with business stakeholders and executive-level audiences.

• Excellent communication, workshop facilitation, and presentation skills.

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Experience with workflow automation platforms and low-code application development.

• Knowledge of ServiceNow Workflow, Flow Designer, and application development capabilities.

• AWS cloud experience preferred.

• Experience with APIs, integrations, and modern application architectures.

• Exposure to AI, Intelligent Document Processing (IDP), and automation technologies.

Preferred Industry Background

• Insurance industry experience.

• Insurance operations and business processes.

• Insurance application development or modernization programs.

• Insurance workflow automation and digital transformation initiatives.

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a techno-functional Solution Architect who can combine insurance domain expertise, business consulting skills, and solution architecture experience to design innovative Smart Apps solutions for global insurance clients. The successful candidate will be comfortable leading customer workshops, shaping solutions, supporting pre-sales activities, and collaborating with delivery teams to drive successful outcomes.
