This is you

  • 2–5 years’ experience in a consulting, pre-sales, solutions or commercial environment

  • A consultative mindset, you think strategically, ask the right questions and understand how to connect client problems to solutions

  • Strong commercial acumen and an understanding of how technology engagements are scoped, priced and sold

  • Have a good understanding of AI and how it can be used to solve some of the more complex business challenges.

  • Excellent storytelling and communication skills, you can distil complex ideas into clear, persuasive narratives

  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and run bids or projects in a structured, deadline driven way

  • A proactive, driven personality, you go out and make things happen rather than wait to be told what to do

  • Comfortable in an evolving, fast-paced environment where processes are still being shaped

  • Inquisitive and willing to challenge the status quo, if something can be done better, you’ll say so

  • Familiarity with proposal writing, statement of work development or commercial structuring.

Nice-to-have skills:

  • Background in a consulting firm or technology services company

  • Exposure to enterprise clients and an understanding of how large organisations buy technology services

  • Experience working across multiple industries, no specific sector specialism required

This is your role

  • Drive the end-to-end bid process, from opportunity intake through to proposal creation, qualification and client presentation

  • Work closely with account teams, Service line teams, Technology and Delivery teams to shape, scope and respond to commercial opportunities in a structured, gated process

  • Translate complex technology solutions into clear, compelling client narratives and proposals

  • Bring cross-functional teams together, from technology and service lines through to commercial and account management, to deliver winning bids

  • Help build and refine the solutions function’s operating model, processes and ways of working as the team matures

  • Develop a deep understanding of Avenga’s capabilities and service offerings to position them effectively against client needs

  • Over time, take on a more direct customer facing remit, contributing to consultative conversations with key enterprise accounts
