• Set up and operate pre-press equipment to produce printing plates with precision and accuracy
• Inspect and verify digital files for color accuracy, layout, typography, and image quality before plate creation
• Manage color management processes to ensure consistency across print runs
• Use graphic design skills and Adobe Creative Suite tools to prepare files for plate production
• Conduct quality control checks on plates to identify defects or inconsistencies
• Maintain detailed records of plate production processes and adjustments
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to troubleshoot technical issues related to plate preparation or equipment

Skills

• Proficiency in prepress operations and experience with screen printing or flexo press preparation
• Strong understanding of color management principles and graphic design fundamentals
• Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) for file editing and layout adjustments
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes related to printing and CNC machining is a plus
• Ability to operate machinery such as CNC equipment and flexo presses with precision
• Familiarity with typography, layout design, and print advertising standards
• Valid forklift certification or ability to operate forklifts safely when needed
• Attention to detail for quality control inspections and defect identification
