King's College School La Moraleja is seeking an enthusiastic and nurturing Pre-Pre Nursery Teacher to join our Early Years team on a full-time, permanent basis from late August 2026.

The Pre-Pre Nursery Teacher will be responsible for delivering a high-quality Early Years education that supports children's academic, social, emotional and physical development. The successful candidate will create a safe, inclusive and inspiring classroom environment where every child can thrive and develop a lifelong love of learning.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences aligned with the Early Years curriculum.
  • Foster a warm, nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that supports children's wellbeing and development.
  • Monitor, assess and record children's progress, maintaining effective communication with parents and colleagues.
  • Work collaboratively with the Early Years team to ensure high standards of teaching, learning and pastoral care.
  • Promote children's independence, curiosity, creativity and positive behaviour.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

  • A recognised teaching qualification and experience working with children in the Early Years age range.
  • A strong understanding of child development and best practice in Early Years education, ideally as part of the UK Education sytstem.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
  • A caring, energetic and enthusiastic approach to teaching and learning.
  • A commitment to safeguarding, inclusion and the highest standards of professional practice.
