Join AIM Chipinque. The Teaching Assistant supports the Teacher in delivering high-quality learning experiences and fostering a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment. This role involves working closely with students to provide individual or small group support, assisting with classroom management, preparing resources, and contributing to the overall well-being and academic progress of all pupils. The Teaching Assistant upholds SEP requirements, AIM’s curriculum, Inspired’s educational philosophy, and the school’s safeguarding standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support the lead teacher in creating a joyful and nurturing learning environment
• Assist in setting up engaging, age-appropriate learning and play activities
• Help guide children through daily routines, fostering independence and confidence
• Provide attentive care during key moments such as arrival, meals, and transitions
• Encourage social interaction, language development, and emotional expression
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organised classroom space
• Support positive behaviour through gentle guidance and modelling
• Observe and share insights on children’s development and well-being
• Participate in school events and contribute to a vibrant school community
• Build warm, trusting relationships with students, staff, and families
