This is a local driving position but 6 months of OTR experience within the last two years is required for an application to be considered.

Responsibilities

• Transporting empty & clean trailers to customer and/or drop yard locations.
• Transporting loaded trailers to the yard to allow drivers to drop-and-hook from the yard rather than the customer location.
• Completing pre-trip & post-trip inspections on trucks & trailers.
• Cleaning truck daily after use.
• Cross-training to tank wash responsibilities may be required during down time.
• Performs related work as required.
• Overnight Availability required.

Overnight 5pm - 5am on a 4-on-4-off rotating schedule.

Qualifications

Any combination of education, training, and experience providing the following knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Knowledge

CDL is required for this position.

Abilities

Must have a strong work history and great customer service skills. Flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings and weekends required.

Experience, Education, and Training

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); minimum 6 months experience OTR with 53-ft trailer required - must be within the last two years.

Working Environment

Both indoor and outdoor working environment with exposure to varying weather conditions and chemical odors.

Licensing/Certification

Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Miscellaneous Requirements

Must have valid CDL with clean driving record. Must be able to pass a DOT physical prior to being hired.
