
Healthy Kids Programs is seeking Pre-Kindergarten Teachers for three (3) classrooms at Beekman Elementary School, Poughquag, NY
Location: Beekman Elementary School, Poughquag, NY
Pay: $38,500.00 – $44,000.00 per year (based on qualifications and experience)
Job Type: Part-Time, Non-Exempt
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 2:15 PM, following the Arlington Central School District 2025–2026 calendar

Healthy Kids Programs provides childcare for school-age children (ages 3–12) enrolled in program on the days and during the hours you work. Employer contributions cover the cost of care, so you can focus on your job while your child participates in a safe, structured, and engaging program, all without needing to arrange outside care.
This role provides four-year-olds with a high-quality early learning experience that builds a strong foundation for Kindergarten. The ideal candidate is creative, culturally responsive, and passionate about early childhood development, with experience in early literacy, multi-disciplinary approaches, and strategies for diverse learners.
This position emphasizes child-centered learning, literacy and numeracy development, social-emotional growth, and collaboration with colleagues and families
Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
To be qualified as a Pre-K teacher, candidates must meet ONE of the following qualification options:
(a) New York State Certification Birth–Grade 2
(b) New York State Certification N–6
(c) New York State Certification P, K, 1–6
(d) Bachelor’s Degree & approved 5-Year Plan
