When casting is received from the wash-out area, checks if all shell material has been removed.
Identifies the router card the aluminum tag and the melt number.
Visually inspects parts for damage, cold shuts, cracks, inclusions, etc.
Uses vibrator etch machine for castings, test bars coupons.
Uses boroscope and cleaning tools to clean flashing, core material and small shell in all areas
Performs other duties as required.
