What you'll be doing:
Sort and pre-grade donated clothing, wares, and household items to determine what is suitable for resale.
Categorize donated goods according to Goodwill’s established grading standards and product flow procedures.
Remove damaged, soiled, or unsellable items and direct them to recycling, salvage, or disposal streams.
Test electronics and inspect items to ensure safety and salability.
Assist with moving donated goods within the Impact Centre using pallet jacks, dollies, and other equipment.
Support loading and unloading of trucks and coordinate product movement within warehouse staging areas.
Maintain accurate production records and complete required documentation according to SOPs.
Keep workstations, grading areas, and storage spaces clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
Provide friendly and helpful interactions with donors, visitors, and internal team members.
Participate in training, safety meetings, and assist other departments or operational areas as required.
