Working within a high-performing pre-contracts team, you'll play a key role in maintaining tender and opportunity data, supporting governance processes, producing business insights and helping our teams make informed decisions across the work-winning lifecycle. From major rail programs and transport infrastructure to network upgrades and station developments, your analysis and reporting will help drive successful project outcomes long before construction begins.

What you will do

  • Analyse market, project and pipeline data to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Bid Managers, Estimators, Commercial teams and Rail leadership.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across pre-contracts systems and processes.

What we are looking for

  • Experience in construction, engineering, infrastructure or rail environments.
  • Strong analytical capability with advanced Excel and reporting skills.
  • Comfortable working with large datasets, CRM platforms and business systems.
  • High attention to detail and a passion for data accuracy and governance.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to turn data into meaningful insights that support strategic decisions.

What we offer

  • Competitive salary and benefits, including salary continuance and salary sacrifice options.
  • Flexible work arrangements and generous leave, including 18 weeks paid parental leave.
  • Career development through technical, leadership and emerging talent programs.
  • Opportunities to work on some of Australia's most iconic projects
  • A diverse and inclusive culture where everyone feels they belong.
  • Wellbeing support and benefits designed to help you thrive.

At John Holland, our purpose is simple: we transform lives with everything we do.

We know infrastructure is about people - our customers, our employees and the communities we work in every day. That's what sets us apart: deep expertise, proven capability and a genuine commitment to creating better outcomes for people along the way.

With expertise spanning engineering, construction and operations, we're delivering the projects and services that keep communities moving.
