About the role

Reporting to the Design Manager, the Pre‑Construction Project Manager leads front end management, stakeholder engagement and coordination across Lifeblood’s fixed-asset capital works projects. You’ll be focusing on the front-end of construction projects; stakeholder management, defining scope, program, risk, budgets, tendering and compliance to ensure projects are ready for successful handover to construction delivery in live operational environments. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders, consultants, contractors and landlords to translate user requirements into functional, compliant and cost‑effective solutions.

Sound interesting? Here’s what we’re looking for:

  • Experience with managing pre‑construction and design activities on complex capital works projects
  • Exposure to design coordination within regulated environments such as retail, healthcare, laboratories or manufacturing
  • Familiarity with tender activities, budgeting, tendering and capital expenditure reporting
  • Experience with navigating BCA requirements, council approvals and planning processes
  • Proven ability to engage and manage consultants, contractors and multidisciplinary stakeholders
  • Experience with BIM, CAD or project scheduling tools desirable
  • Knowledge of cGMP and TGA‑regulated environments desirable
  • Architectural, design and/or project management qualifications highly desirable
