Barbaricum is seeking an Information System Security Manager III to directly support the anticipated Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane Division, Model Based Engineering Assessment Division (Code MXM). Code MXM's mission is mission engineering analysis and assessment of complex Naval, DoD, and joint kill chains — with a specialized focus on Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (EMSO) enabled analysis. As an Information System Security Manager III, you will lead information systems security management for Code MXM's environments — applying specialized, master-level expertise in Specialty Area 72 (Information Systems Security Management) to keep classified systems secure, compliant, and authorized to operate in support of EMSO mission engineering and test. As a member of the Cybersecurity Workforce, you will maintain the certifications, clearances, and on-the-job qualifications required to manage the program's information systems security posture in a collaborative Government/contractor environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide specialized, master-level information systems security management across Specialty Area 72 (Information Systems Security Management).
  • Manage the information system security posture of program environments in support of EMSO mission engineering, modeling, and test.
  • Maintain Cybersecurity Workforce (CSWF) qualification, including a minimum of 40 continuing education hours per year.
  • Complete required On-the-Job Training (OJT) evaluations within directed timelines.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Current U.S. Government-issued SECRET security clearance (or interim) — required and must be maintained; U.S. citizenship required;
  • Graduate degree from an accredited university, OR CNSSI 4012, OR NDU CISO certificate, OR NDU CIO certificate, OR AQD GA8, OR successful completion of a military training course: NEC 2779 (CIN A-531-0009), 3372, EKMS Manager (CIN W-3B-1500), or A-4C-1340 (KMI) — or DoD Service equivalent.
  • Validated five (5) or more years of specialized, master-level experience in Specialty Area 72 (Information Systems Security Management).
  • One of the following certifications is required: GSLC, CISSP, CISM, CAP, or CASP.
  • As a member of the Cybersecurity Workforce, maintain a minimum of 40 continuing education hours per year.
  • Complete OJT evaluation within directed timelines: NAVEDTRA 43462-1C, or NAVEDTRA 43462-2, or NAVEDTRA 43469 watch station 304; or (if IP O1–3) NAVEDTRA 43360-2; or (if IP O4–5) NAVEDTRA 43360-3.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • TS/SCI clearance (candidate must, at minimum, be eligible to obtain and maintain a TS clearance).
  • Multiple Specialty Area 72 certifications from the required list (GSLC, CISSP, CISM, CAP, CASP).
