JOB PURPOSE

To ensure the correct and accurate realization of repairs. To contribute to the success of the sales realizing complex and extremely precise interventions, relying on high level of craftsmanship, knowledge and experience on materials and tailoring techniques.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Be responsible for the alteration/tailoring inside the store and e nsure to carry out the repairs within the timing foreseen and the high quality standard.
  • Ensure qualified customer consultation and support with regard to individual change requests.
  • Together with the Sales Assistant takes care about the customer fitting.
  • Ensure the procurement of all the material necessary for the tailoring and the maintenance of all tailoring tools.
  • Manage product handling between the Store and all the external service providers (laundry, knitwear factories, external tailor’s labs, etc.).

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

Completed training as a tailor

Relevant professional experience in women’s and men's fashion sector

Routine handling of sewing machines and manual sewing

Enthusiasm for fashion, trends and textiles

Care, accuracy and independent work

Reliability, organizational skills and time management

Fluent spoken English expected
