purposes

The Stockroom Assistant manages the proper rotation of goods according to company regulations. He/she supports the Manager in all the responsibilities regarding the Office warehouse and the Store. Moreover, he/she deals with sales and therefore supports the Client Advisor in order to maximize sales.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures the safety of the products and the valuable material in the warehouse.
  • Verifies that the product is intact.
  • Ensures that the goods in are entered into the IT system.
  • Lays out the products in the warehouse according to the set criteria.
  • Prepares the products destined to the sales floor (anti-theft tag, price tag)
  • Positions the products on the sales floor.
  • Always maintains order in the warehouse.
  • Prepares the goods for repairs.
  • Registers the goods that need repairing in the IT system.
  • Dispatches the goods to clients/factories/other stores or warehouses.
  • Prepares the goods to be sent to other stores/warehouses.
  • Downloads from the IT system the goods that need to be sent to other stores/warehouses.
  • Prepares the goods that need to be returned.
  • Ensures a proper care of goods during the whole handling process
  • Provides the orders of packaging material consistent with the store needs.
