Job Description

The Department of Biology and Environmental Science at the University of New Haven invites applications for a Practitioner in Residence position beginning August 2024.

The Department seeks to hire a highly skilled teacher with expertise in Anatomy & Physiology. We offer two large multi-section A&P courses and the successful applicant will coordinate the instruction of the lecture and laboratory sections, in addition to teaching these courses. These courses serve majors in our department and also the growing programs in our School of Health Sciences. Our department is large and varied with undergraduate degrees in Biology, Genetics and Biotechnology, and Marine and Environmental Science and graduate M.S. programs in Cell and Molecular Biology, Environmental Science, and Marine Policy & ManagementThe Department of Biology and Environmental Science at the University of New Haven invites applications for a Practitioner in Residence position beginning August 2024.

Qualifications

Candidates must have earned a Master’s degree in a relevant field, although a Ph.D., M.D., or D.P.M. is strongly preferred. In addition to running our A&P courses, there is an opportunity to teach and develop courses in related topics such as histology and neurobiology.
