We are currently seeking an experienced Practice Nurse Manager to join our team at Ipswich Medical Centre. This is an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse with strong leadership capabilities to oversee a dedicated nursing team while continuing to deliver high-quality patient care.

Working closely with the Practice Manager and Medical Director, you will play a critical role in supporting clinical excellence, developing team capability, and ensuring the efficient operation of the treatment room.

About the Role

In this role, you will:

• Lead, coach and support a team of Practice Nurses, Treatment Room Assistants and Medical Assistants
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the treatment room, ensuring safe and efficient patient care
• Manage recruitment, onboarding, training and rostering activities for the nursing team
• Drive employee engagement, performance development and ongoing education
• Deliver hands-on clinical care, including immunisations, wound management, health assessments and chronic disease management
• Ensure compliance with clinical governance, infection control and accreditation requirements
• Manage treatment room equipment, supplies and stock levels
• Work collaboratively with GPs, Practice Managers and support teams to enhance patient outcomes
• Foster a positive, patient-focused culture centred on quality care and continuous improvement

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Previous leadership or management experience within a healthcare setting
• Strong clinical nursing experience, preferably within General Practice or Primary Healthcare
• Excellent communication, coaching and relationship-building skills
• Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
• A passion for developing and supporting clinical teams
• A commitment to delivering exceptional patient care
• Unrestricted Australian working rights
