Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, including assessments, treatments, and follow-up care.
  • Administer vaccinations and manage chronic disease care plans.
  • Assist in minor surgical procedures and wound care.
  • Educate patients on health management and disease prevention.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in practice meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse with a current Australian Nursing and Midwifery Accreditation Council (ANMAC) registration.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a clinical setting, preferably in a general practice or community health.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Knowledge of chronic disease management and preventative health strategies.
