Nurse - Registered or Endorsed Enrolled Nurse

Tom Price Medical Centre / Paraburdoo Medical Centre

Tom Price and Paraburdoo Medical Centres are expanding our team and are seeking additional nursing support at our two clinics. These roles would suit applicants already residing in Tom Price or Paraburdoo, as housing is not provided.

We are seeking experienced General Practice Nurses with excellent organisational, communication and clinical skills to join the team. Flexible work options allow for either full-time, part-time or casual employment, located at either our Tom Price or Paraburdoo Practice. You will work in an environment dedicated to ensuring that patients receive the highest level of care in a comfortable environment. TPMC is backed by Private Emergency Health Australia (PEHA), Australia’s largest provider of outsourced private emergency departments.

Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

• Chronic disease management

• Health assessments

• Care plans

• Wound management

• ECG / Spirometry

• Treatment room & stock control

• Immunisations & cold chain management

• Iron Infusions

• Infection control

• Triage – over the phone and in person

• Vaccination & medication administration

• Sterilising

Our ideal candidate will have:

• Current registration with AHPRA

• Commitment to ongoing training

• Always maintain patient and staff confidentiality

• Ability to work with the doctor or autonomously, where necessary

• Previous experience in General Practice is preferable, but not essential

• Knowledge of Best Practice is an advantage, but not essential

TPMC has two General Practice clinics at Tom Price and Paraburdoo and provides medical professionals to the Tom Price Hospital Emergency Department.
