Practice Manager or Senior Veterinary Nurse | Greencross Riverway, Townsville QLD
Help build the team and culture from the beginning
What if your next role gave you the opportunity to help create the kind of clinic you have always wanted to work in?
We are preparing to reopen Greencross Riverway, our purpose-built veterinary clinic located near the banks of the Ross River in Townsville.
We are looking for an experienced Practice Manager or senior veterinary nurse ready to step into leadership and help shape the clinic’s next chapter.
This is not simply an opportunity to manage an existing team. You will play an important part in building the team, establishing how the clinic operates and creating a workplace where people feel supported, capable and proud of what they achieve together.
You may already be managing a veterinary practice and be excited by the opportunity to build something from the ground up.
Alternatively, you may be an experienced senior veterinary nurse who is ready to move into practice management with support, development and an established network around you.
What matters most is your ability to bring people together, create structure and help build a positive clinic culture.
The clinic is ready. Now we are building the team.
Riverway is purpose-built for quality veterinary care, with dedicated consulting and treatment spaces and specialised facilities, including radioactive iodine treatment capabilities.
You will be supported by an experienced Area Manager, a Regional Clinical Director and our wider network of Townsville clinics. During the lead-up to reopening, you will have the opportunity to work within the local network, build relationships and contribute to the planning and development of Riverway.
Who would you love to work with again?
Great clinics are built by people who trust, respect and complement one another.
If there is a veterinarian or veterinary nurse you have worked particularly well with in the past, this could be an opportunity to explore working together again and help create something new.
Individual expressions of interest are equally welcome. You do not need to arrive with a team already around you.
Depending on your experience, you will have the opportunity to:
You could be a great fit if you:
A Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing is highly regarded for nursing applicants, alongside previous leadership, coordination or mentoring experience.
Located near the Ross River, Riverway is surrounded by parklands, lagoons, walking paths and community spaces.
Townsville offers a relaxed tropical lifestyle, with Magnetic Island, the Great Barrier Reef and North Queensland’s beaches and national parks all within easy reach.
If you are ready to lead, step into practice management or help create a clinic culture from the beginning, contact Belynda Gardiner on 0404 633 457 via phone, or email belynda.gardiner@gxltd.com.au
