Greencross Vets Chandlers is looking for an experienced and passionate Practice Manager to lead our team and help drive the continued success of our well-established clinic.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a respected and community-focused practice, working alongside a highly capable team of veterinarians and nurses who are committed to delivering outstanding patient care and exceptional client service.

A Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing is highly desirable, along with previous leadership or management experience within a veterinary environment.

About the Role

As Practice Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in leading and supporting the clinic team while ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the practice.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading, coaching, and supporting the veterinary nursing and reception teams
  • Driving a positive, engaged, and high-performing team culture
  • Managing clinic operations and workflow
  • Supporting rostering, workforce planning, and recruitment activities
  • Monitoring clinic performance and implementing initiatives to drive success
  • Working closely with the Vet Director and regional leadership team
  • Supporting client experience and service excellence
  • Maintaining compliance and operational standards
  • Assisting with inventory, administration, and business processes
  • Driving team engagement, development, and retention
  • Supporting ongoing growth initiatives within the clinic

This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced Practice Manager or an experienced senior nurse looking to step into a leadership-focused role.

About You

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has previous Practice Management or veterinary leadership experience
  • Holds a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (highly desirable)
  • Has a strong understanding of veterinary clinic operations
  • Is passionate about developing and supporting people
  • Demonstrates excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Has strong business and operational acumen
  • Is confident managing competing priorities in a busy environment
  • Leads with positivity, empathy, and accountability
  • Is solutions-focused and proactive
  • Enjoys building strong relationships with clients, team members, and stakeholders
