Job Description

Are you a natural leader with a passion for veterinary care and team development?

We're looking for a dedicated Practice Manager to join our well-established and highly regarded team in Tamworth!

You will be initially sharing the role with an experienced manager to help you navigate the ropes of leading supporting a large team the services both small animal general practice and referral case loads

As a vital member of our leadership team, you'll take on a varied and rewarding role that includes:

  • Overseeing clinic workflow and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations
  • Leading, mentoring, and inspiring a large, diverse team of veterinary professionals
  • Coordinating rosters and processing payroll
  • Managing recruitment, onboarding, and providing ongoing staff support
  • Handling reception and administration responsibilities
  • Supporting our after-hours and on-call service coordination

We're seeking someone with:

  • Proven leadership experience and a passion for team development
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Confidence in leading within a high-paced, multifaceted environment
  • A collaborative and proactive mindset
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Tech-savviness (Rx Works experience a bonus!)
  • A solid understanding of clinic operations and business management
  • Industry knowledge would be an advantage
