Are you an enthusiastic, organised leader ready to take the next step in your career? We’re looking for a motivated Practice Manager to join our well-established 1300SMILES Smithfield team! This is a full-time, fixed‑term role covering parental leave from June to November 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a supportive team, drive a positive patient experience, and ensure the smooth day-to-day running of a busy clinical environment.

As Practice Manager, you’ll play a key role in overseeing daily operations, supporting the clinical team, and fostering a collaborative, high-performing workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the practice to ensure efficiency and high standards of care
• Lead, support and develop the front office and clinical support teams
• Manage staff rostering, leave planning, and daily workflow coordination
• Deliver exceptional patient service and handle escalations professionally
• Support the clinical team to ensure smooth appointment flow and patient experience
• Monitor and manage administrative processes including billing, reporting, and compliance
• Drive team engagement, performance, and a positive workplace culture
• Work closely with senior leadership to achieve business and operational goals

Qualifications

• A confident and adaptable leader with proven experience in team leadership or practice management
• Dental or medical sector experience is preferred but not essential
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships
• Comfortable giving and receiving feedback and supporting team development
• Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively
• Solid understanding of financial management, including budgets, sales targets, utilisation, and P&L
• Confident using technology and open to learning new systems
