We’re seeking applications from experienced health professionals for a Practice Lead position within our centralised Clinical Care Governance and Risk team.
As a Practice Lead, you will support the embedding of the Blue Care Quality framework to improve Consumer Experience and Continuous Improvement in the residential services area. This will include a collaborative approach to reviewing and developing Policies, Procedures and associated tools to support Quality Safe Care in practice that is aligned to best practice and legislative and regulatory requirments. Inclusive of developing a robust mechanism for sharing learnings and innovations across the organisation.

With a solid background in residential aged care, you are a motivated and professional leader with a passion to make a difference and lead best practice to ensure older people receive high quality care and services and live the life they choose.
You have demonstrated understanding, knowledge and practical application of continuous improvement, legislative, policy and regulatory requirements in aged care. A strong verbal and written communicator, you are skilled in establishing effective working relationships through partnership. Highly-competent in decision making, you have a proven ability to dissect problems and implement solutions accordingly.
You will also present with:
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Nursing/Allied Health.
Current, unrestricted AHPRA registration and unlimited work entitlements.
Demonstrated Broad management or clinical experience in service delivery and quality systems in either the aged, community care or health sectors.
Knowledge of all relevant legislative, regulatory and funding requirements, professional standards, guidelines and best practice relevant to the Aged Care environment.
Demonstrated knowledge of continuous quality improvement practices and proven experience in innovative thinking and/or ability to deliver innovative outcomes.
Sound understanding and knowledge of resident/person-centred care, residential based services delivery.
Willingness and ability to travel to locations in Queensland.
Current Australian Driver’s License
NDIS Workers Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain
